Chapter 8- The Usefulness of Trials
Within the trials and storms of life is where God is using
his miraculous power to change us while we are enduring the
tribulations of life. This meaning tribulation is too press; great
misery or distress, as from oppression;deep sorrow;affliction trial.
It is when we are in the refinery of the Lord's furnace do we feel
the heat of change-changing our life for His purpose that we might
be that light spoken of in 1 Peter 1:7 These trials are only to test your
faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests
and purifies gold-----and your faith is far more precious to God then mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, It
will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
What is cupel? A cupel is hearth for refining metal and metal is defined as 1) any class of chemical elements, as iron, gold, aluminum, etc generally characterized by ductility, malleability and conductivity of heat and electricity;
those elements act as captions in chemical reactions, form bases with the
hydroxyl radical and can replace the hydrogen of an acid to form a salt.
2) Material of substance of which someone or something is made.
