1 Chronicles 29:17-18 I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously. O Lord, the God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, make your people always want to obey you. See to it that their love for you never changes.
In focusing on the word integrity we learn that the meaning has a rare quality, the state of being complete;unbroken condition; wholeness; entirety. The quality or state of being of sound moral principles; uprightness, honesty, and sincerity. Now, in this astonishing discovery we find that in the beginning God created the earth. In Genesis 1:27 So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself;male and female he created them. The focusing on the word integrity has in depth and a life anchoring meaning to the believer. In the scripture David is giving honor and thankfulness to God, for God has found the children of Israel worthy and dedicated to the cause of giving honor to God. He has found integrity in their actions and for the cause to which they have given to serve Him both physically and emotionally. In searching for more of this word integrity we can look at the (nlt) for a more spiritual answer; honesty, without compromise or corruption. We read that Jesus was full of integrity, full of moral principles and the light that filled him was of God. In identifying this we as his sisters and brothers, or as we could say the church should also be walking in this integrity, filled with the hope and plans the Lord has for his people. In today's world the Lord is looking for a person of integrity, one willing to give not just self but share with the community those gifts and talents that God has given them.
When reading the letters from Paul to the church's his instructions to live a life as citizens of heaven,dedicated to the faith and to those things which the Lord would have us follow. Fill yourselves with integrity and the character of the son, Christ, so that even those who don't know him will see him in your life.
