In All Seasons
Psalm 65:9-13 You take care of the earth and water it,making it rich and fertile. The rivers of God will not run dry; they provide a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so. You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops. You crown the year with a bountiful harvest even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. The wilderness becomes a lush pasture, and the hillside blossom with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy! The Lord is good too all that follow and are obedient to him, even in the seasons when there the spirit seems bear and drought has given little to find joy in this world, there stands the Lord so eager to walk with us, so excited to show us the beauty he has waiting just over the mountains of difficulty if we are diligent and dutiful, the eyes of our faith will see the power and glory of the Lord. In the mist of temptations, in the coldness of the world the Lord is standing guard, watching over the sheep. Let us see that in the rain when tears are flooding our eyes, he is there to refresh us and give us his everlasting love and joy to turn gray skies into sunny days. How faithful God is in every season of our life, how He grants mercy and ignites the Holy Spirit to guide and grow us even through all the suffering, we shall grow as strong as the oak tree, as majestic as the highest mountain range and as humble as flowers that bow their heads in the Spring rains.
Let the believer and those that would follow in his name be a added wonder to the world, an extrodinary wonder to the world, man in all his splendor, from the dirt of the earth and within him the vision of all seasons that God would use for His purpose, that no matter what season we are still believing that God is always there. Wait and see that your season of joy will arrive as large as the flakes of snow in Winter, the abundance of His giving, shall we share all we have that God would give us more then we can take in. Open your hearts to see the season of your rescue and recognize him as he brings you out of your difficult season, let the Lord show you that He is there in your season.
