      TITLE:  PUZZLES

      Jeremiah 29:11-13 (niv)

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the

Lord." "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to

give you hope and  future. Then you will call on me and come and

pray to me, and I  will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me

when you seek me with all your heart.

If we look at and examine the word "puzzles" we find two distinctive meanings that run parallel to each other when reviewing our lives.

 1) cause (someone) to feel confused because they cannot understand or make sense of something. 2) a game, toy, or problem designed to test ingenuity or knowledge.  The words that we can explore around both these meanings are: perplex, confused, bewilder, bemuse, baffle, mystify, confound.

When I think of the word puzzle, it reminds me of my granddaughter Karmen, though 4yrs old she loves puzzles. She has a very high curiosity level as most those her age but what makes it so remarkable is she loves puzzles, putting them together, working the answer in her head of how to fit a piece in it's proper place. The most important message in this text is too remember that we are God's children and He knows what's best for us for He is the Creator of our beginning and our end. Should we as children question His plans?

God so designed our lives to fit around His but some of us have it turned around, for we are impatient children who want to see the whole puzzle, that's why we turn the box cover over to see the picture of how its going to look before we have a chance to take the pieces out of the box. Now, before you start to think this message is negative believe its all positive and I'm not speaking just to you but in all  fashion myself because God is trying to tell me something about my own life.

This message is about faith and endurance to run the race set before us.

We trust that God has the answer for all our problems and He has designed a path for each of us to follow, that path is faith-faith in knowing that God will guide us and help us in our times of need. Nothing can be more clearer then the scripture found in James 1:1-4 (nlt) Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy.

For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.

Life is the great puzzle, in it we share a link with each other and know one can figure each other out or read each other's mind. But it's our choice to put our trust in God's hands because He made a way for us when life gets heavy laden, His name is Jesus. When your feeling confused, baffled about life's situations and people's actions that isn't your affair, your only job is to be the character that Christ gave an example to be through the Holy Spirit.

So when life's challenges on your job, family, friends, strangers, finances, and the world itself remember that we are all connected from generation to generation, God has sent someone to keep us together, for this world will keep you baffled, unclear, clueless about the direction its going.

Our Lord and Savior knew in His own time what people were going through and experiencing for even up to this time nothing has changed. But it is through the Holy Spirit that has changed us for we are redeemed, free from bondage, Christ has came and freed us from all troubles. It is through His love that we don't have to worry about how the story is going to end. It is in His Word that He promised to never leave us or forsake us. He has great plan that we live in and through Him, this is the great mystery that the apostle Paul was send to teach us the Gentiles. This plan can never be broken or ignored for the Son, Christ has paid the price for our freedom. We are rich with treasures unimaginable for we have eternal life.
