Blog Revival: Title: The Love Hasn't Died

     Dec. 1, 2015

Message: The Love Hasn't Died

    Love Story

It had all the makings of a great action film-------some guy sacrificing his life to save his true love. Kara loved stories like that, but they always left her feeling inexplicably sad and empty.  If only there were someone who would rescue me, she usually thought.

But this time, the story she was hearing wasn't fiction.  It was coming from a church pulpit.  When Kara joined her friend Carl for his church's  Easter service, she had expected to hear what a horrible person she was----that she had let God down and had better get her life together.

Instead, she heard that Someone came to earth to rescue her. She heard that there really was a Hero who loved her. Kara knew she'd finally found what her heart had always longed for.

Do you long for a love that is true and lasting?  God has already given His life for you and He is waiting to claim you for His own.

******It is not your hold on Christ that saves you, but His hold on you!

Taken from the book:  Glimpses of an Invisible God
