     Stand Firm

Hebrews 11:1-2

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. God gave His approval to people in days of old because of their faith.

This particular scripture can be used to anchor to anything going on in our lives. It is the foundation of our faith even before the Son, Christ who did ask Peter, the disciple who got out of the boat to meet Jesus on the stormy seas as He took his eyes off of Jesus and saw where he was he begun to sink or drown and was saved at the hand of Jesus.

We live in a world full of disbelieve and mysterys that keep us gazing and trying to figure out what is going on? Jesus has continually reminded us of the incoming and difficult days ahead in His teachings, following right into where we are now.

There are situations that we find to hard to deal with and problems that don't seem to go away but even in those breaking point issues faith hangs in the balance. Without faith how could we believe there is a God, that He made the world, that He made the universe, and that He even made us, His greatest creation. Faith tells us that it is the open door to the Son, Jesus and without faith how can we believe He is with us always even if He has said so through His promises to never forsake us, withou faith how can we believe He is the Resurrection.

Stand not on the promises of the world for it will decay and loose its flavor. It will shatter your dreams and belittle your faith, the only confidence that stands with us and around us is Jesus, He answers those heartfelt faith cries He catches them when all has gone wrong in your life or difficulties seem insurmountable, Jesus is there when you stand firm in your faith. Let your prayers be the anchor that lets you into the still water's of peace and wellness.

  Ephesians 2:12-13

In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from God's people, Israel, and you did not know the promises A God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and wu thout hope. But now you belong to Christ Jesus. Though you were far away from God, now you have been brought near to him because of the blood of Christ.

It is this definition that justifies the scripture of faith, the assurance that God through His only Son He has redeemed us. Let us stand firm in this believe when difficulties attempt to drown us, have faith that Jesus has us in the palm of His hand and He will work it out in your behalf and for His glory.

Be Blessed!
