The Holy Spirit

     1 Corinthians 12:13 (nlt)

Some of us are Jew's, some are Gentiles, some are slaves,  and some are free. But we all have been baptized  into Christ 's body by one Spirit, and we have all received the same Spirit. *

     Genesis 1:1-2 (Kjv)

In the beginning  God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form,  and void; and darkness was up

on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

     Ephesians 1:13-14 (nlt)

And now you also have heard the truth, the Good Need that saves you. And when you believed  in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised  long ago. The Spirit is God's guarantee that he will give us everything he promised and that he had purchased us to be his own people. This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God.

    John 14:26 (nlt)

But when the Father sends the Counselor I mean the Holy Spirit ------he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I myself  have told you.

     Isaiah 11:2 (Kjv)

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit  of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge  and fear of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit gives guidance

    Romans 8:14 (nlt)

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children  of God.

The Holy Spirit loves us.

      Roman's 15:30 (nlt)

Dear brothers  and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join me in my struggle  by praying to God for me.  Do this because of your love for me, given to you  by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives illumination.

       1Corinathians 2:7-13 (nlt)

No,  the wisdom  we speak of is the secret wisdom wisdom of God,* which was hidden in former times, though  he made it for our benefit before the world began.  But the rulers of this world  have not understood it; if they had, they would neverhave crucified our glorious Lord.

That is what the Scriptures  mean when they say,  "No eye has seen, no ear has heard,  and no mind has inagined what God has prepared for those those that love him.

But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by his Spirit,  and his Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God's

deep secrets. No one can know what anyone else is really thinking except that person alone,  and no one can know God's thoughts  except God's own Spirit. And God had actually given us his Spirit (not the world's spirit) so we can know the wonderful things God had freely given us. When we tell you this, we do not use words of human  wisdom.  We speak words given to us by the Spirit,  using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths.

The Holy Spirit is God

    2Corinthians 3:17-18 (nlt)

Now,  the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, he gives freedom. And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mi6 that brightly reflect * the glory of the Lord.  And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.
