      Wardrobe Malfunction

Scripture : Ephesians 6:10-18 (niv)

Finally, be strong  in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand  against the devil's schemes. For  our struggle is not against  the rulers, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces  of evil  in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth  buckled around your waist, with the breastplate  of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness  that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take  up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always  keep on praying for all the saints.

In this detail description of the Christian soldier in which Paul shares with the Ephesians, it brings a descriptive interpretation of our battle gear. In the peak of battle when we feel all our attire as Christians is in place, we find that we have forgotten and left something unbuttoned, unzipped or even left off.  When we are out of tune with our walk with God, the enemy breaks through our peace, the everlasting joy which the Lord himself gave us, we become depressed, beaten,  confused about our life, the enemy even plants fear within our spirit when the issues of our life look darken and unsure. It seems that some part of us has become as shadows in our relationship with Christ even through all of His promises He has revealed time after time  this is when we have dropped our shield of faith compromising our walk with God, our trust and relationship with His ever presence.

God continues to speak the truth through His Word reminding us that He has conquered the world through His Son, Jesus Christ by His death on the cross, this is the Word of God that brings us victory. As we continue to learn that God is a faithful God, our faith increases and we mature in faith through these tests, rising out of the ashes of regret and becoming prayer warriors that can break through any situation because we are children of the Most High God. The Lord says, be strong and courageous. In this we have the mind of Christ and nothing can defeat God's plan and purpose He has for our lives.

God does understand our needs. He understands and knows the battles that confront our peace. He gives justice and mercy for His purpose and knows the battles that confront our peace  and to His choosing.

He is the light of our Salvation  and the Comforter in our storms even in our weaknesses  to lift up our faith  in the times of testing. He cares and defends  the weak  and protects those that belong to Him.

Be strong and courageous.
